Chase Xu, Realme’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, confirmed the news on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. According to Xu, bypass charging will roll out in April, followed by UFS 4.1 support in October.
The Realme GT 7 Pro, which launched in China last November and later became available worldwide, currently lacks these features. Interestingly, the recently announced Racing Edition includes both bypass charging and UFS 4.1, despite some other hardware downgrades.
It’s unclear if the update timeline applies globally or is limited to the Chinese variant. Stay tuned for further announcements!
