The upcoming Vivo V70 series is inching closer to launch, as the standard Vivo V70 has now appeared on the Geekbench database, confirming key hardware specifications and giving us a glimpse at its performance potential. The listing strongly indicates that Vivo is gearing up for an early 2026 debut, following the Vivo X300 series launch in December.
Vivo V70 Geekbench Listing Reveals Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Power
The Vivo V70, listed under model number V2538, was spotted on Geekbench by reliable tech tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin). The listing confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, Qualcomm’s latest mid-premium chipset built for power efficiency and solid gaming performance.
According to the listing, the octa-core CPU configuration includes:
- 1x Prime Core clocked at 2.80GHz
- 4x Performance Cores at 2.40GHz
- 4x Efficiency Cores at 1.84GHz
The GPU listed as Adreno 722 is exclusive to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, effectively confirming the chipset powering the Vivo V70.
Benchmark Scores
The Vivo V70 has recorded 1,235 points in single-core and 3,920 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench — promising results for a premium mid-range smartphone.
Additionally, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared the phone’s OpenCL score of 4,848, highlighting impressive GPU compute performance, which will benefit gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks.
The device tested featured 8GB of RAM and was running Android 16 topped with OriginOS 6, suggesting it could ship with the latest software out of the box.
Vivo V70 Lite Also in the Works
Alongside the standard model, a Vivo V70 Lite 4G variant has also been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and FCC certification websites. These listings confirm that the entire V70 lineup — including both 4G and 5G models — is nearing launch.
The simultaneous appearance of both models across certification platforms suggests that Vivo will unveil the V70 series in early 2026, likely starting in China before expanding globally.
What to Expect from the Vivo V70 Series
The Vivo V70 is set to succeed the Vivo V60, which launched earlier with strong hardware and camera capabilities. Based on current leaks and Vivo’s track record, the V70 could feature:
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset
- Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage
- 6.77-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging
- Android 16 with OriginOS 6 / Funtouch OS 16
- Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras (possibly 50MP sensors)
If Vivo retains the same design philosophy as the V60, we can expect premium materials, curved edges, and flagship-level imaging at a competitive price point.
Expected Price and Launch Timeline
While official pricing details are not out yet, the Vivo V70 is expected to launch in India in early 2026, possibly around the ₹36,999–₹39,999 price segment — similar to the Vivo V60.
Given that the V60 was marketed for its camera performance and design, the V70 could further refine the formula with improved AI imaging, faster performance, and longer battery life.
